PLANET members make an impact in Washington, D.C.
Approximately 400 PLANET members, their employees, and family members converged on the nation’s capital in July. They came to participate in PLANET’s Renewal & Remembrance service project at Arlington National and Historic Congressional cemeteries, and Legislative Day on the Hill, which included visits to representatives and senators on Capitol Hill. Congressman recognized as PLANET Business Champion of the Year
U.S. Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.) was honored at PLANET’s Legislative Day on the Hill with the 2008 Business Champion of the Year Award. Stupak received the award for his leadership and overall understanding of the needs of American business in sponsoring commonsense legislation that is beneficial to the green industry, such as the H-2B guest worker program. He also is a founding member of the U.S. House Water Caucus.

Television personality to speak at Green Industry Conference
